We are doing great with 39 of the questions already answered. I have 70 pages left in my book so I should get it finished soon.

I finished Get a Life, Chloe Brown and added it to #10 smells that make you happy for campfire, since they go camping even though they have a fake fire, which isn't the smell that makes me happy.
I've started Malorie which is pretty short so I anticipate finishing it today (I'm already 30% through). I'll see if it fits anything that's still open when the time comes though it may take more creativity as we get down to the last couple options.
I finished the audiobook of The Body: A Guide for Occupants but not sure I can creatively squeeze it in anywhere. I will try and finish A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor tonight.
I'm having a really busy week at work so I haven't had as much time to read as I wanted to. I will for sure finish The Turn of the Key, which I think could be made to fit in any of the leftover blank ones...and Nine Perfect Strangers which would fit for favorite outdoor activity. I'm not sure if it will fit anything else as I just started it.

We could also try to shuffle books, but it's fine if not all books fit. It's still added pages and more props to you on another book for the read-a-thon!
Traci wrote: "Ellie wrote: "I finished the audiobook of The Body: A Guide for Occupants but not sure I can creatively squeeze it in anywhere. Okay, now I'm going down rabbit holes and am going to stop! Back to work.

Traci wrote: "Traci wrote: "Traci wrote: "Ellie wrote: "I finished the audiobook of The Body: A Guide for Occupants but not sure I can creatively squeeze it in anywhere. Also agree that if the book describes anything about how a body does something that relates to an activity you enjoy that would work for sport/physical activity too.
I'm unclear on the bonus/wild card. It looks like we have 3 available which means we can just fill in 3 spaces for free and then we can able to start all over with a new board. I asked this question on the main Readathon page. I show we have 40 finished. If we use the 3 wild cards, that only leaves 2. If you're not one of the first 2 people to finish your current book, no problem, you can save it for the 2nd board.
I was thinking the wildcard may have meant that a random book could be slotted into a question even if it doesn't answer the question (meaning we'd need to still read 45 books, but a few could be just random). I think this is how the 'wildcard' option has been described when it comes to the ATY challenge, but not sure about here so may be way off base. Lol
In the past wildcards just meant we could skip prompts. Thanks for the ideas on The Body! I'll put it in physical activity as I like going for walks and it explains some of the compromises our bodies have had to make to allow us to walk upright.

I'm sure you're right, that we still read 45 books, thanks for clarifying. We have been doing so well with rearranging books that we may not need the wild cards.

I'm sure Jackie wrote on the main read-a-thon page that if we have a wild card we can just write that instead of using a book?
I just finished 18. If you could get rid of one month of the year, which would you choose? Amsterdam by Ian McEwan The book starts out in February and this is my least favorite month.
The last 3 spots all have pending books. If the books are almost finished, then I think we should save the wild cards for the next round. If the books are not almost done then, I think we should use the wild cards and see what is next.
I just finished Malorie but need to get creative to fit it in somewhere. Boat - I could name a boat "Survival" (which I'd call a theme of the book?) just in case my home state of California gets hit with the big one and goes underwater? lol
I don't think age works (2020 - wouldn't want to be younger than 21 for obvious reasons - Malorie is probably younger than me and certainly more fit I guess that wouldn't be so bad) :)
And I don't think I'd want to move to a world where you need to walk around blindfolded.
Going with boat for now!
Not going to have anything else finished most likely until the weekend.
Robin, Hannah, and SarahKat have 32. penciled in and Traci has 42. (Dori too but we can use her book for round 2). I won't finish my next book until this weekend. I have 10 hours of an audio book.
I'm good with using wildcards. I don't know if the questions will be the same or different, but I'm assuming we'll be able to make most books work again. I have 10 hours left of my audiobook, which is the one penciled in, so will probably finish on Saturday.
Turn of the Key can also work for choose an age to be forever (the last blank!). I'm trying really hard to finish that tonight. Tomorrow am at the latest. But if you guys want to use a wildcard and use Turn of the Key for the next round that's fine too.

I won't finish my print book for at least a day or two and I just started a fairly long audiobook. I put all my really short ones in the first few days.
I posted a question about the wild cards but none of the mods responded, so I just emailed Emily directly. It looks like we don't need them, but it would be good to know how they work.

**Got a really fast answer** we can skip categories altogether if we wish
Hi Robin!
In the past, Wild Cards have replaced a book, meaning you would not need to read a book for that prompt, but rather, you could use your wild card.

I finished Turn of the Key for the last blank! Age I'd like to be forever. 27, the age of the main character.
As I look at the chart, we have all but one question covered. What about using a wild card for that unless someone fills that question in by early tomorrow? Then we have a whole new grid ( I am assuming same questions? perhaps different questions?) that all those books that won't be finished today but will be finished in the next few days can be slotted to. I have 3 books in progress. I should finish at least one of them and perhaps a couple of them by sometime this weekend.

I think SarahKat had the last one. I added the prompts to page 2, as it was given to us blank. I was messing around with it for a while, so if something doesn't look right, let me know. I didn't copy over the tracking. I thought we could keep that on page 1.

Looks good - I'd just suggest copying over the names at the top from sheet one so we can fill in potential books in the columns. It looks like favorite season's answer got deleted though it is still marked as done. I remember someone saying they filled it in, so it probably just got accidentally deleted at some point? *EDIT - I found the book SarahKat said was filled in so went ahead and put it back in.
Deborah, thanks for figuring out the missing book. I forgot about putting the names in. If someone is good with spreadsheets, please do so. I had some weird issues when I tried to copy the prompts and I ended up with them being on there about 20 times!
Thanks to whoever added the names! I finished Who Speaks for the Damned and put it under Pet Peeve for swearing.

I see you are reading Bluebird, Bluebird... which I really enjoyed.
I may only finish 1 more for the read-a-thon. I'll pencil it in for wherever it fits so far, but I'm only 70 pages in so it can probably be moved around

Yes! I'm part of a team hosting a buddy read for Bluebird, Bluebird it on instagram so I can't finish it until after our chat Saturday morning, but I'm really enjoying it so far!
I'm starting Home Before Dark today which I think I should fly through since I have the ebook and audio options.
Have been way busier this week than planned, but able to take a day off and relax today! I finished A Horse and His Boy and will try to put it on the spread sheet, but it keeps crashing!
I've finished A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and put in under the age I would choose forever as many of the characters are in their early/mid 20s! I could probably find another prompt for it if someone really needs this one though. I don't think I can finish more books at the weekend :(
I finished The Christmas Boutique and ended up putting it in 4. What would you do in life if you knew you could not fail? Like all of Jennifer Chiaverini's Elm Creek Quilt novels, this book centers around quilting and the relationships of quilters. I would LOVE to be a master quilter and produce heirloom quilts. Alas, there is always a book calling my name.
Great! I hardly did any reading yesterday but have some driving today with audiobook and hopefully some book reading too. It's very typical for me with all kinds of projects to start off really enthusiastic and then kind of fizzle out, so I will try to refocus.
I finished Three Floors Up and put it in #2 bad habits of other people that drive you crazy. There were a few in here. I thought the book was really good though!
I just finished Home Before Dark and put it down for something I'd want on a deserted island - I mean if I had my house that would be great - or at least some sort of house/shelter that would go a long way to making the island survivable.I also realized I only had 50 pages left in There Once Lived a Woman Who Tried to Kill Her Neighbor's Baby: Scary Fairy Tales so finished that and put it down as a job I'd hate. Being a hitman/killer is a job, right? Just not one I'd enjoy.
Back to finish off Bluebird, Bluebird now... once I convince the pup in my lap she's wanting to move so I can go get my book. I am literally balancing my laptop on her and typing right now because she's so sound asleep! lol :)
Hannah wrote: "Deborah wrote: "I am literally balancing my laptop on her and typing right now because she's so sound asleep!..."That sounds like the cutest thing ever!!! <3"
Agreed!!
Finished Tell the Wolves I'm Home Put in 25. What crazy activities do you dream of trying someday? June, the main character dreams of living in Medieval Times
I finished my last book for this read-a-thon, Peace Talks by Jim Butcher.5. What was your favorite Halloween costume? wizard
Least productive reading day so far. Only 87 pages. But my air conditioner stopped working so I was dealing with that. And my 8-year-old wanted to actually hang out and play games with me instead of watching youtube and playing video games all day. So that's what happened. I have about 200 pages left in 9 Perfect Strangers. I WILL accomplish this tomorrow!
I have updated your points for the team! It can be found in the second message on this thread.
Keep up the hard work, and happy last day of the read-a-thon!

I may be a bit tied up today with church and family stuff, so I may not finish another book. I think we should use our wild cards later in the day to get an additional 4 points on some prompts we haven't finished.
