The book is about two dogs named Boris and Doris and a cat named Kiki. I also remember another character who is a small girl around the age of 6. She often dresses Boris, Doris, and Kiki up with ribbons and bows and she makes them attend tea parties with her in her treehouse. The girl runs away and falls into a pit in a meadow and Boris, Doris, and Kiki try to help her get out. The cover has a picture of the pit with all three pets peering inside.

This book has sentimental value to me because I first read it with my teacher years ago. It would mean a lot to me if I could find out the title. It's been bugging me for ages.
