I'm not sure about the actual rules, but that's not how I do it! I try to set it up so I'm reading the books around the day the prompt is set for, but I don't get too worked up if I finish the book before or after the day.

Oh!!! Now I see why there was confusion. lol The dates assigned to the prompts are the dates of the "holidays." You don't need to read the books on those dates, though that does make the challenge quite a bit more difficult if you want to try it.

Have you tried looking at Goodreads lists? I'm finding mostly romance, so if that's your genre you're in luck. If not, it might be a little trickier. I found a few, but some of them are part of a series so you'll have to decide if you'd be interested in reading those too.

Stiff The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach The Repeat Year by Andrea Lochen Charmed Thirds (Jessica Darling, #3) by Megan McCafferty Assumed Dead (Monika Everhardt Medical Mystery #3) by Eleanor Sullivan The Shadow Year by Hannah Richell The Secret Language of Girls (The Secret Language of Girls, #1) by Frances O'Roark Dowell No Tan Lines (Barefoot William Beach, #1) by Kate Angell No One Like You (Barefoot William Beach, #4) by Kate Angell No Time to Explain (Barefoot William Beach #6) by Kate Angell Finding Your Feet (Toronto Connections, #2) by Cass Lennox Kiss Me Like You Mean It Solomon's Crazy in Love How-To Manual by David E. Clarke Package Deal by Tasha Harrison

Also, there is this list: Dress + Bare Feet. I hope you find one you are interested in. :)

Yes, I have started "Stiff" and am loving it! Great suggestion!

Yeah most of them are, I, myself had trouble finding something that's not romance ;)

Thank you, Elizabeth. It is a great book!!

Kristie | 5928 comments So, I just went down a barefoot rabbit hole. lol I found a bunch of books. You just need to be a little creative in your search. The link I posted above (Dress + Bare Feet) has some books that are not romance based, which is good for me too. Also, I found these lists, which can lead you to others:
Balancing Act
Gymnastics

Not all of the books in the lists will work, but there were plenty in both. If you enjoy nonfiction, I have found there are a few of those too.

I think this one looks interesting: Little Girls in Pretty Boxes The Making and Breaking of Elite Gymnasts and Figure Skaters by Joan Ryan

I didn't find anything other than romance either. Stiff seems like the answer. :)
