Could someone please create a thread for the 2022 upcoming (or now current) book reads?

I am a new member and found somewhere that we are reading Bleak House. Now I have lost that thread & cannot find a clear link to it under any topic.

I am anxious to begin Bleak House! Forgive me if I am missing something obvious!

Hi Lee,

Our current read - which I know you have commented on earlier - has 2 days to go, and the discussion is still lively there. It is LINK HERE, in the current reads folder. Also in that folder is "What we Read" which hopefully answers your question.

Since you joined before the end of December, you should have received my New Year letter, with lots of links about other topics and reads. There was also a link to the poll about Bleak House. You did not vote on that, but I announced the result in our chat thread, "Mrs Dickens Parlour" LINK HERE.

All the reads, including upcoming ones, are on our group bookshelf with their dates, if you ever want a quick check.

The only upcoming one there is Bleak House, because that one starts on February 24th and will last about 3 months, as we read one chapter a day. You will receive another message about this exactly a week before it starts. Towards the end of May we will discuss our summer reads (in the relevant thread) which are shorter. There will be an opportunity for anyone who likes, to lead one.

Until then, this thread is archived. It only becomes current when there is something to discuss, which will be in the Autumn.
