I don't think she believed he was a bad cop but do believe she thought he was out of control. Most of what she said in court was to protect her client, not necessarily anything she believed.

As to her assessment of Harry, I also don't think she believed he was a cold blooded killer but she did think he acted recklessly and in a way, he did.

Maybe the letter spooked her, but she wouldn't give it to Harry because she thought she might lose her case against him?
Very sadly, she lost her life. I certainly didn't want her to be the next blonde victim either.

She could have given it to him after the jury was deliberating. It would have had no effect on the outcome. This was the one thing that bugged me about her even more than her interaction with Edgar.

But the jury doesn't understand this arena as well as she does, so the opportunity exists for her to portray Harry as reckless, out of control and over the line -- which she does, unabashedly. The rationale that she does it for her client doesn't wash with me, I don't think it's ok that she bends bend the truth to benefit her client at Harry's expense.
