Started this yesterday... not entirely sure if this really counts as romance but hey, found it googling lists of best romance and a lot of Goodreads users have tagged it as such.

I would say it does. I really liked this one. I had to read it for a young adult lit class in college.

Angela, I think it's a good choice. I'd say it's a romance absolutely for sure, sort of in the Jane Austen vein. The film was great, and I only read half the novel before I had to return it, but I enjoyed it and always regret not finishing it. Please let us know how you like it!
