Maybe he's not confident enough that he'd make enough money selling his own work? He makes a lot more forging all this other stuff? I mean, baseballs? Bats? Disney signatures plus art?
But, one question I had and you can probably answer it, Ruth. The geometric, linear art that he was replicating, wouldn't that be a lot easier to forge or duplicate than other art, like Kandinsky, or Braque, or Renaissance art, for example?


But then they said he used a certain yellow that wasn't used in that age, and that gave him away. Did I read that correctly? I thought it was in the same sentence. Because they did say he used acrylic that was not of 1939 or the 1930's....

OH! I see what you're saying! You are actually agreeing with me. You are repeating that he used acrylic and that wasn't used during that time period of the painting. Nor that color yellow. Yes, that's interesting.
