Ensnared's ending, from the author's POV (Spoilers abound)

Now that Ensnared is out, I'm going to write up a blog post in a couple of weeks or so about why it ended like it did.

Everyone has their opinions whether it was "fair" or "real-life" but only the author has insight into how the story played out across the page while writing it, how the character arcs and canon figured in, and why certain plot choices were made. Each one had a reason, and you deserve to know them since you've been faithful and have followed the series to its end. :)

I'll also be including excerpts from all the books and the novella that alluded to this ending, because it's been foreshadowed throughout the series. Unless I'm psychic (I wish!), I had no idea, over a year and a half ago, how any other authors were going to end their books these past few months. ;)

I'll place the link here in the spoiler section once it's up, since there may be spoilers in the post. Also, I've turned off my notifications to this announcement, so if there are any comments to this, I won't see them (just so no one thinks I'm ignoring them purposely). I'm in the midst of some writing deadlines and am trying to stay focused.

You are welcome. It is funny, but the Splintered trilogy is one of the FEW series that I HAVEN'T found at least one nit picky thing wrong with the story's conclusion!
