ABANDONED. Sci-Fi. Princess is responsible for dragons killing most of her kingdom (including her mother) because of a mistake she made as a young girl. She has dedicated her whole life to killing dragons to try to make up for it. Spoilers.

I read this around 2017-18.
Sort of medieval.
The princess dedicates her life to hunting and killing dragons. (she's relatively young, around 17 I think).
She has scars on her body from when she was a child and made the mistake of trusting dragons that lead to the massacre of her kingdom.
SPOILER:
There's a plot twist at the end where it's revealed her dad was responsible for all those deaths, and he poisoned her mother. The book ends with her running off with her boyfriend.
There's rebels who she tries to help but I can't remember how that tied into the plot.
