Thriller/Action and adventure? A girl called "Em", (but real name is Emma), escapes a prison her ex-crush/lover, (Who I'm gonna call Marcus cause I think that was his name?), created; to travel back in time to stop her ex-crush/lover (Marcus) from taking over/destroying the country and killing "Em"'s past self, (who is referred to as Emma). For more details, Em escapes and time travels with a boy, who used to be Marcus's friend. Marcus's evil acts started when his brother died from a bomb explosion, while he was doing a speech. That's all I remember as of now, and I last read this book in 2018.
