It's perfect this way~ I have the Spanish edition and maybe I have some variations, but it's nice to have a reference.

Perfect! I'm thinking about doing something like this for all of the buddy reads now because it is more adaptable.
How are you guys finding this book?
I just read a chapter but I love the writing style! I didn't even read the synopsis but I like the setting, but as I said, I didn't read much.What about you?

Since this is a re-read, it's surprising how much details I've forgotten. And I finally understand the comparison with The Diviners (more so with the atmosphere than the overall plot). It'll be interesting to see your thoughts on the ending 🤔
I'm on page 54 and I love this. Time travels are one of my favorite tropes, and I really like the writing style. I had a lot of books to read so I was sloooow but I hope I can read it this week.I want to know how the two stories merge~
After finishing part I I felt...anxious. I wanted to know what was going to happen but at the same time I felt so bad for Esta (they call her by that? because in Spanish her name is Estrella but not sure if it's translated or not) for seeing his friend in that situation.Now I want to know what happen, because Esta feels troublesome XD
By the way, it reminds me of doctor who with all this come and go from past to future <3 Even if she's trapped now...
How far are you guys in the book? And what are your thoughts so far?
I'm more or less on the middle, (view spoiler).Even if I'm intrigued about what will happen and how, this still make me anxious to pick and I don't know why, because the plot is amazing -I love time-travels <3-, the characters are lovely and I read fast. SO WHAT'S MY PROBLEM?? *sigh*
I love all the characters, there's anyone that I hate. I like Harte, Estrella, Viola, Nibsy, Jianyu and even Jack haha. Maybe Dolph is the most ambiguous one, but I understand him perfectly when he lost his other half.
Right now I don't have really positivie thought about how this will end, probably Estrella would be trapped on the 1900s forever and will have an adventure with Harte (?). I don't know hahaha Maybe that's why it makes me anxious, that I can't tell or even foresee the ending.

The ending is definitely unexpected and I'm excited to hear your thoughts. I don't want to really spoil you cause the ending is kinda plot twisty so I'm holding back until you've read the ending.
I hope I can finish it before the 31th so it can count for summer wars! I've read a few mor chapter, I'm just 30 pages from Part III.
And the future has changed. This book has a lot of tension! Aaah!
Estrella is worried that it changed, but even if they can't stole the magic elements, there can be another way to have them, maybe from the inside a few days later. Hmmm...
Harte and Estrella's "games" a pretty fun to read, but in my mind it's just NOW KISS.

Same feeling with Harte and Esta when I first read it and when I reread it cause I love the angst. Part III and IV are wild!
If I had to summarize Part III in one word it would be "treachery".(view spoiler)
But I'm loving this story a lot. The characters have different objectives and personality, and really, I'm waiting for the plot twist you've just said XD I have zero idea of what can happen next... So I'll probably finish it today.

even if I knew who Lachlan was I DIDN'T EXPECT ESTA'S PAST or how freaking sadistic Lachlan was!! Son of a jxjdbekxbekdhI really enjoyed the book although sometimes I'm so paranoid with characters that I have theories that are true hahahah
but woah, I need some time to process it all. So many things happened and probably the next book would be as wild as this one.
What did you think the first time? And after the reread?

I was processing the information for days and I wanted to know what happens next. But since the sequel was released a year after my memory and procrastination led to my reread cause I forgot what happened ever since I first read it 2/3 years ago.
During my reread, (view spoiler). I still loved the relationships and I can’t believe I forgot about Jianyu and Violet.
Needless to say, I can finally jump into the sequel and soon before my memory betrays me yet again.
Oh yes, I'm not sure if the second book is translated but probably will happen the same to me! Oooh how could you foget Jianyu and Violet? I bet they would have a lot of protagonism in the next one ^^ And I think Violet is my favorite from all~

I think my younger self was too focused on the relationship that I forgot everything else. Though not gonna lie Harte’s name was the only one I remembered. Which is surprising given that I have a great memory for at least the main protagonist. 😅
Well, Harte is a nice coprotagonist :pBtw I saw the second part is translated! So maybe next week I'm going to buy it and read it before I forget all this treachery...
(really wtf why the sustantive is treachery but the verb is betray? What's the problem with that word? Isn't treach a good word for you, English language? *rant off* hahaha)

Hahaha... definitely need to pick up the second book soon. I'm not big into a third re-read because my memory betrayed me. 😅
