Does getting current on a series count (as where the series is as of 12/31/2015 - such as the Easy Rawlins series which has a number of books but is still ongoing (I used that as most have heard of this series)?

So is it the number of "series" you will complete that determines the challenge number or is it the number of series books that you will read that determines the challenge number.

I think one of series/trilogy reads will be the Haiti series by Madison Smartt Bell which is historical fiction about the Haitian revolution.

I have been meaning to make this a summer project for years and if successfully will click off a lot the challenges I entered besides the series:
