The first thing that you notice is the chill. It's eerily cold, in a wet way. Farther up, there's the Cornucopia in all its splendor. If you look around, and squint past all the creepy fog, you can see that you are in a small town, the buildings relatively damaged.

Raven fidgets, trying to calm down. Do it for Julia, Julia, Julia....
Krun just keeps focused at the Cornucopia. Then you start blowing kids apart.
Kyle smirks. "I'M GONNA WIN!" he yells.

Tyler and Jordan come up on different sides of the circle. Jordan finds her brothers eyes. They plan on sticking together until they can’t anymore.
Iris stands in the platform as it rises from beneath the ground. Her hands are shaking, and she shoves them in her pockets. She looks around, and is relieved to see Luke a few places over from her. Luke holds his head high as he steps into the starting platform. Inside he is absolutely terrified, but he had to be strong for Iris. Iris, who reminded him so much of his sister. He shook his head, and stood, rigid, at attention, waiting for the cannon.
Skyler practically skipped onto her platform. She had a big grin on her face, and she excitedly waited for the cannon.
the countdown starts: 60....55...50...45....40...35...
Lavina twirls around gracefuly humming to herself. let the games begin she imagines Claudias Templesmiths voice.
Iris begins clenching and unclenching her hands, her heart is racing, and she feels sick. She looks terrified. She repeats the plan in her mind. Run away..don’t go near the cornucopia...get out right away. She looks to Luke, who gives her a small smile of encouragement.
Alynthi shivered in fear. Her eyes wide, she glanced around at the other tributes.
Skylar smiles to herself, and grins as she sees how scared everyone else is. She prepares to run straight into the cornucopia.

Krun smirks, and so does Kyle. Raven takes a deep breath. Put you plan in motion...

At the last second before the gong, Kyle jumps off. "I'm going to get there fiiiiiiiiiiirst-"

Raven runs for the cornucopia, followed by Krun.
Iris sprints away from the cornucopia as fast as she can, her bright red hair standing out in the fog. Luke d’arts forward and grabs the closest bag to him, not brightening to see what colour it was, or what was inside, he sprinted away, hoping he was fast enough.
Sky ran straight into the cornucopia, picking up two bags, a knife and a bow. She quickly sling the bow and bags over her back, and grips her knife.
(GUYS IF THEY GO TO THE CORNUCOPIA, POST IN THE CORNUCOPIA TOPIC!!)

Alynthi darted off her platform.
Jordan and Tyler locked eyes, Jordan was the faster runner so Tyler ran behind him, while Jordan ran for a bag.
Lavina sighs at Kyle. She braces herself and then when the gong sounds she darts towards someone who isn’t her ally. She runs to the cornucopia first though.
Madi took a deep breath and scanned the area, this was a death pit, and she would be the only one coming out Ally trembled, but zipped off running, towards the Cornucopia
Chase grimaced, but also charged at the Cornucopia, his eyes full of hate
Madi sprinted after them
Ronja shivered from the cold, but she forced herself to be attentive. She was on the streets now, where survival was the only thing that mattered. She walked cautiously towards the cornucopia.
Jessica starts running full speed towards the cornucopia, Livid does the same, but more cautiously. Jessica and Livid both had no allies, not yet at least.
