The plot was about a warrior who was small and agile, causing others to underestimate him. He went on several adventures. I read it in the late 1980s. I think it was young adult fiction.

Chris, that's a good start. You need to add more plot details (from your comments) to the topic header (title), so someone can recognize your book from that description alone. (I added "YA" and date read to the header.) We have thousands of book requests.
Click the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, there's a "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)

Is this fantasy? Historical fiction? what kind of warrior? What sort of society did he live in? Do you remember any of the adventures? Who were his companions, his foes, places he went? Any details like this may help. Also, was the book new when you read it? Or was it maybe an older book? Any cover details come to mind? All that sort of detail can really help someone recognize the book you're describing...
Definitely a medieval theme but with a fantasy twist. I believe the book was titled after the main character. I don’t remember the adventures in detail. It could have been written in the 1970s or 1980s. I got it from the high school library.
How old was the warrior, teenager or younger child?I'm assuming you mean small as in short in stature, but not as small as a dwarf?
Did your small warrior, by any chance, have a taller and stronger sidekick? There's such a pair in Fritz Leiber's "Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser" series, e.g.: Swords and Deviltry
Could it be Split Infinity by Piers Anthony? The main character, Stile, is very short for a man (5'0"/1.5m or something like that). He lives on the planet Proton but somehow crosses over to the magical medieval-Europish land of Phase where he has various adventures. And he does muse various times about how people underestimate his capabilities.
