SOLVED. Realistic Fiction- Girl dates an abusive guy, slowly being pulled away from her friends in the process. [s]

All I can remember is that the character must have been around 18ish, and at one point in the book she gets beat up really bad by her boyfriend to the point where police come.

Throughout the book her friends started to leave one by one because the main characters boyfriend got extremely posessive, until that scene when they found her. I believe that specific scene was outside and (maybe?) at a party.

If it’s a YA book I think Sarah Dessen wrote something like this, can’t think of the title at the moment though
