I don't remember much. I've read this book maybe 20 years ago and I think it wasn't something new even at that point. I read it in polish but it wasn't by polish author. It was lighthearted medival fantasy with comedic moments. I think it included some "fellowship of the ring" type of team. One of the main characters was a great wizard who had allergy to magic which created unexpected magical accidents and at the beginning of the story he made fish fall from the sky because of that. I think he had younger padawan and they were asked to perform some kind of task.
