Throughout the book, Mae encountered a few people who saw the negatives of a company like The Circle. If a company like Google or Apple were to do similar things, what do you think people's responses would be? Do you think most would be like Mae, seeing the positives of the inventions a company could present, or people like Mercer, seeing the negatives these ideas could have?
