I kinda get you. I often go crazy and start writing because I want to pen down some insane ideas or ridiculous scenes I fantasize about but two chapters in with no one getting my enthusiasm about the scene makes me feel stupid and I eventually end up shoving the papers in random places and forgetting about them.
I've never been an alpha or beta reader before but I'll love to help you. (If you'll have me, that is.)

Good luck! It sounds like a very interesting concept. When you need a reader I’m willing. :) I’m good at pointing out plot holes but not so good at spelling.

Make it New adult, that's the it genre cuz most people like Gore and sex and R-rated stuff.YA is running out its welcome. If you look at my polls of best book 2019 and best books 2020 you'll see a lot of cool New adult authors including the wonderful Laura Thalassa, Ilona Andrews, Annette Marie, Amy Harmon, Sarah J. Maas, Caroline Peckham. Like Annette Marie started Red winter series on the YA side and then eventually there was steam....please make it NA and I'll love you forever.

Oh, and I will eventually need beta/alpha readers if anyone is interested. The book is YA, Supernatural (Werewolves, Fae, Vampires, Mages). Reverse Harem. Conflict: supernatural races against one another, council against everyone who is against them, secret agency against the council, council against powerful FMC. FMC with a traumatic past, abuse survivor.
I am aiming for a 2 or 3 book series.
