Hello Sai, looks like you've already been added! :)
Updated.
Hello! I would like to suggest the following:Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone series for October
The Selection series for November
Throne of Glass series for December
If anyone would like to join, I would be super happy :)
Alaina, for now I have only added the first books in each series for the months you suggested. Are you wanting to add the entire series (1 book per month) for all 3 series?Nadine, your suggestions are added.

Hello! Is that the normal way you all do series over here? If so, then yes that's fine by me.
Nadine wrote: "Hello. I'd like to suggest The Book Thief for September, and The Shining for October."Both I've been wanting to read !!
Do let me know if they are listed, I'd like to join for reading both :)
Alaina, it depends on you and any other people interested. Most series are 1 book per month, some longer books are 1 book every 2 months, or there's even a current group reading the Throne of Glass series reading 2 books per months so they can finish by December. Also, some groups only suggest the first book and wait until they've read and enjoyed that before committing to the rest.Shraddha, The Way of Kings added to the August Suggestions.
Sai and Nadine, both of the books are confirmed!

Ruthie wrote: "Eirelyn and I would like to finish out the Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater with the third one Blue Lily, Lily Blue next month and the 4th one The Raven King in September."Ruthie, I am re-confirming for Harrow the Ninth in August. Initially I was "if my library re-opens", and now it's A) open for curbside pickup, B) the book is on order, and C) I am first in line for it. So, good to go.
Shraddha wrote: "The Way of Kings in August; anyone in?"Shraddha
Did you notice that Ruthie also previously nominated The Way of Kings for September?
I had good luck with my last Stephen King book, so I'd like to try one of his older works. If anyone is up for it, I'm thinking...Month: October
Christine by Stephen King
411 pages

Dikshita, you're already added to the September read of The Book Thief.
Marc & Ruthie, Harrow the Ninth is (re)confirmed for August.
Eirelyn, Christine added to the October suggestions (and I'll see if I can join).

Thanks for catching that oshizu!
Shraddha, Ruthie, do you both perhaps want to read The Way of Kings as a 2-month read in August-September?
Thanks, Trisha! :) I hope you can join. I figure it'll be fun to read something creepy for October. I debated joining the Sleeping Beauties BR, but since it's so long & starts in September, I don't know if I'll have time to begin since my reading schedule is pretty full that month.
SarahKat wrote: "Alaina, it depends on you and any other people interested. If other people want to join them and recommend anything different I will be able to do so as well :)

Nadine wrote: "I'd also like to suggest All the Light We Cannot See and The Hunger Games for August. Thank you! :)"Nadine, All the Light We Cannot See and The Hunger Games have been added to the August suggestions.
FYI, The Hunger Games series is currently being read and we have discussion threads in place for the first and second books. The third book will be read next month. If you want to join the existing discussions, I can point you to the right folders. This way you won't have to wait for another reader to confirm your suggestion. This is only if you are eager to start early! :)

Ooh, sure!! :) I probably will start reading it next week.
Would anyone be interested in joining me to read Celestial Bodies, a historical fiction authored by an Omani woman, set in Oman, and translated from Arabic to English? Also, it's the recipient of the 2019 International Booker Prize.Month: September
Book: Celestial Bodies (stand alone)
Page count: 256 pages
+ Note: I'm not open to other months as I'm reading this book for the Women of the World quarterly challenge, which ends in September.
Nadine wrote: "Ooh, sure!! :) I probably will start reading it next week...."Awesome! I'm pasting the links for the ongoing buddy reads below. Feel free to join the discussions -
1. The Hunger Games #1 Buddy Read (This thread is available until the 25th of July, however since you are joining us now, I'll keep the thread available for a little longer.)
2. The Hunger Games #2 Buddy Read (This thread will be available until the 25th of August.)
The discussion thread for book #3 will be posted by the 25th of this month. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Of course, I'd prefer to read it with you, but I rarely get takers for my BR nominations (like Gods of Jade & Shadows and A Memory Called Empire in the past), so I'm fine. :D

If not, I would absolutely read them with you sometime...both have just been hanging out in my TBR pile. If you have read them, do you recommend them?
AnnouncementHello, we have requested confirmation from a few of the series buddy read groups today - so if you're one of them, please confirm whether or not you want to continue with that series next month.
I just wanted to read the first Throne of Glass book to see if I liked it before agreeing to continue. Plus I only have the first book at the moment. I didn’t realize how many books there were in the series. Hahaha
Sinisa wrote: "Confirming Terry Pratchet's Discworld series for next month"Thank you Sinisa! I've marked this series as confirmed.
Thanks, Trisha! The only SeriesESSES for which I am signed up appear to be the Game of Thrones books, and the All Souls Trilogy. I am definitely behind on both of those, so I need to be removed from Storm of Swords, and The Book of Life!
I am showing that I am otherwise on Cell (King), and Where the Crawdads Sing (Owens). If there are only two of us on either of those, I remain committed.
I will be reading Gulliver's Travels for one of my local clubs, if anyone wants to join me.
Thanks again!

Removed you from those two series. Are you suggesting Gulliver's Travels for August?

Yes on Gulliver, since I have committed to it on my end, anyway! Thanks!
I saw Water for Elephants was suggested for Septemeber, I believe, and would like to join! Also open to reading it in August. I would also like to join for The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I have it on hold and am crossing fingers it will be ready to read in time
Hi, can you add me to the following please?August: Good Omens; Where the Crawdads Sing
September: The Ocean at the End of the Lane
Grace wrote: "I saw Water for Elephants was suggested for Septemeber, I believe, and would like to join! Also open to reading it in August. I would also like to join for"
Grace, if your hold doesn't come through in time for the August buddy read of The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, a few of us are reading it in October as well. :D
Since it looks like both Michelle & I are up for it, I'd like to suggest Never Fade (Darkest Minds #2) by Alexandra Bracken for August. :D
Gulliver's Travels suggested for AugustWater for Elephants confirmed for September (I'd like to leave it that month Grace because it will fit the monthly theme for Wildlife!)
Never Fade is confirmed for August, and I've moved the 3rd book in that series to suggested for September.
Everyone is added to all requests!

Ruthie & Shareen, I've pushed A Storm of Swords to September post checking with Ruthie. Shareen, if you can make it to the buddy read by that time, we'll be so glad to have you. Also, I've pushed the fourth book further down to November and removed the fifth book for now. If time allows, I'll add it back whenever we decide to read it.
Would like to read in August:~The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman
~The Murder of Roger ackroyd by Agatha Christie
~The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Might join back in the series continuations next month but will not commit yet. I got in over my head for July!

Hi, Could you add me to the buddy read for The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle for August?
Thanks in advance :)
