Participants: Maria, Irma, Shi.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

I might join in on this buddy read. This book sounded really good to me even though it's not my usual cup of tea. Can't wait to jump into something a little less dark or serious.

I agree!! I read until chapter 18 so far and it's really enjoyable.

Exactly! I thought it would be just a light rom com, but it's so much more than that!

Is this a light and quick read or something I would want to dwell upon as I go through it? Since I aim to read almost 10 books this month I will place the Young adults and quick reads towards the end of the month. In a bit of a time constraint with work.

I would definitely not say it's a heavy read, but it's also not a total rom-com that's lighthearted throughout. I would personally say it's not hard to move through it quickly!

Happy reading! I finished this about a week ago and still need to write my review, but I really loved it!

Just started. Liked that we went right to the point in the first few chapters. I am still waiting for the male protagonists backstory and why he acts the way he does.

Oh my God this was so beautiful. I thought it was going to be one of those cheesy romances towards the end but I loved that ending!!!

It was really not a light beach read, it was so much more. And I think the title and cover are misleading
