Girl is from royalty I think because in the book she is set to marry a prince. In the beggining of the book her brother is injured and she doesn't know why. Her brother later reveals to her that she has given him the injuries when she turns into a wolf/beast.
Some other details that might help:
- when they reach the kingdom she plays a game with the royal brothers, trying to guess which one she's to marry
- her brother develops a crush on a girl who is some kind of vampire. I say 'some kind' because the girls teeth are black which is apparently a sign that she drinks blood
- The cover is red with a black figure of a wolf or girl
