SOLVED. Children's book with main character Angie or Angela, goes to teacher's house. [s]

This was sort of in between a picture book and a chapter book. It was fairly short, for children, but in chapter format, with some simple black and white pictures.

I don't remember a lot about the plot, but I think there was a Halloween in the book, and the main character, a girl named Angie or Angela, hung out at her teacher's house at one point. She had long hair and was skinny. I think the book might have had Angie or Angela in the title, but I'm not sure.

I read this book around 1996-1998 when I was in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade.

The book seemed old, maybe from the 70's, and I think that because I seem to remember Angie's outfit looking "retro." I'm pretty sure it took place in America.

EDIT: the chapters were stand alone stories. The book wasn't one long coherent story.
