This my thesis:
As a great leader Hitler convinced the church that the Jews were evil. This started in the late 1930s, and began the second World War, leaving a lasting legacy. Though his ability to lead was flawless it brought the Holocaust, causing millions of Jewish deaths, five million non-Jewish victims, and many more surviving but tortured victims. There were over 60 million World War II casualties in all.

If you're talking just about the Holocaust this could work, but if it's on his leadership you should mention more points than the Holocaust in the thesis.
