L. Scott (truescott) | 6 comments I see pop-up paper engineers/designers are given several different roles:

Design
Designer
Illustrations
Illustrator

Illustrator seems to be the most common, but some books have illustrators other than the paper engineers.

I haven't found any who have been labeled "Engineer", so perhaps "Designer" would be the appropriate label.

Is there any policy on this?

Robert Sabuda is a noted paper engineer / artist
He predominately is listed as illustrator, but I've never liked that either. Worldcat isn't much help and LoC even less.
