Perfume question

I'm still reading Perfume. In the reading I've gotten a little bit more than 60%. My reading routine is not very constant but I reading mostly right before going to sleep or in the morning right after waking up. I'm still very much liking the book. Something the descriptions are a little bit long but other than that is it a powerful book.
