Heather (eveejoystar) | 62 comments This one is more of a personal nostalgic memory so it won't work for others, but I'm doing The Thousand Orcs by RA Salvatore. Every summer I'd visit my dad and we always played D&D. Salvatore's books and a lot of D&D campaigns are set in the Forgotten Realms.

Molly (mcelizabeth97) The Wanderer
I remember the summer before sixth grade I had to read this for assigned reading and my dad and I read it together. This book went everywhere with us that summer.

poshpenny | 1916 comments I've been thinking and I don't seem to have any special nostalgia for summer. The only thing that comes to mind is marching band, since I was in color guard. I did this year-round, but it took up most of my summers for about 9 years. Marching Band fiction doesn't really seem to be a thing. I did find a short on Kindle.

The Marching Band Refused to Yield

Johanne *the biblionaut* | 1301 comments The Summer Book by Tove Jansson (mother of moomin), is a nostalgic summer book in itself.

Carly Friedman (carlykayreads) | 61 comments The only books I can think of that make me nostaligic for summer are YA... To Kill a Mockingbird, Tuck Everlasting, The Mighty Miss Malone...

Looks good! I will look into it. Thanks!

Lauren Oertel | 764 comments Kind of a tricky prompt, but I might go with The Second Home because it makes me nostalgic for the beach home I never had? Haha

Kim (kmyers) | 108 comments Family road trips were a summer staple growing up, this book shares both the informal history and a personal family story - Don't Make Me Pull Over!: An Informal History of the Family Road Trip Don't Make Me Pull Over! An Informal History of the Family Road Trip by Richard Ratay .

Amari Easter (uhhh_mari) | 14 comments I had to read The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton during the summer of 7th grade and I don’t know why I feel a sense of nostalgia for it, but I continue to read it almost ever summer since haha

Lilith (lilithp) | 1086 comments Becky's Birthday was pure magic. My parent gave me this for my 8th birthday, and I couldn't find it for decades. The only book I can think that can make me nostalgic for summer.
