Hawthorne and Longfellow?"
Darn I knew that was too easy!"
😂 Well it was easy for me because they are my two "favoritest" NE authors and I love the fact that they were lifelong friends (although they didn't really get to know each other until some time after college).

Hawthorne and Longfellow?"

It's Meg, she has Hawthorne radar.
I'm glad to have you back, Doreen.

That's right! 😂
Yes, I'm glad to see you again too Doreen! I hope the weather is a little cooler now? Today was nice and cool here.

We've been having thunderstorms off and on since yesterday. You'd think I would mind that but I'd rather have that than the heat and humidity.

My sincerest apologies, Emma.
It was Hannah that cheats."
Lol I was just teasing. 😄😉

I was waiting on the wind to
die down for your return. 😋

Hi Allyson,
I was wondering that myself
She and Dorothy are probably
debating over Grammer.

Wait everyone, I'm trying to think of a good hard one!! 😋

“ There is __________, with genius so
shrinking and rare
That you hardly at first see the strength
that is there;
A frame so robust, with a nature so
sweet,
So earnest, so graceful, so lithe and so fleet,
Is worth a descent from Olympus to meet ;
'Tis as if a rough oak that for ages had stood,
With his gnarled bony branches like ribs of the wood,
Should bloom , after cycles of struggle and scathe,
With a single anemone trembly and rathe;
His strength is so tender, his wildness so meek,
That a suitable parallel sets one to seek, —
He's a John Bunyan Fouqué, a Puritan Tieck;
When Nature was shaping him clay was not granted
For making so full-sized a man as she wanted,
So, to fill out her model, a little she spared
From some finer-grained stuff for a woman prepared,
And she could not have hit a more excellent plan
For making him fully and perfectly man."

Sorry, Emma, but a tone of certainty will get you nowhere. It's not Emily Dickinson.
