Emma, you are tall! I have to stand on a chair to reach the top shelf of my kitchen cabinets. By the time I climb up, I usually forget what I'm looking for!

I'm still so new here...refresh my memory. Does the winner ask the next question? (I'm also getting forgetful in my old age, so I may have been told that before....but I forget) See, I already forgot I said forget more than once! It has to be this neverending heat!

Pamela, my family did not used to have AC when we lived in TN, so what my sisters and I did, was we would get a bucket of cold water and put our feet in it. It was so relaxing and cool us down so much! Just a suggestion if you're overheating. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Pammy,๐Ÿˆ
Your not being forgetful, it's this group- it's a
roller coaster. Remember when you first
arrived and now? Did you ever expect this?
You should read back to July 4th, we spent the day
in hysterics from so much laughter.
Yes, the winner has the next round.

That sounds refreshing! I'll try it! My mom has air conditioning and lives right next door, so I do get relief. I wish my cat didn't get sick from AC ,but she does so I just muddle through the heat.

Oooohhhh! What a lovely house! I love old houses. There are 2 not very far from me that are my favorites. The Asa Packer Mansion in Jim Thorpe, PA, and Pennypacker Mills in Schwenksville, PA. I would move into either one of them. President Buchanan's Wheatland is also lovely. That's in Lancaster, Pa.

I know this writer loved to garden, so I'm strictly guessing here:

Emily Dickinson

Emma | meadowroselibrary Ruth wrote: "Okay

This is a good one Ruth! I feel like I should guess Emily Dickinson, but I'm going to guess Mark Twain instead.
