And it is beautiful too.

Flowers expand their light and soul-like wings,
Teaching us, by most persuasive reasons,
How akin they are to human things.🌸🐝

Hannah Alane | 662 comments Okey dokey, so at a 1341 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge there is a Benjamin Wadsworth House where from July 2 - 15 1775 Washington uses this as his first headquarters and while there takes command of the Continental Army.

Seeing that the owner of the home was named Wadsworth, I wonder if the author was Henry Wadsworth Longfellow?

I don't know anything about zoom. My tablet is not very up to date. Don't forget, it won't let me download the app for those smiley face things either (I always forget what they are called). I am not very modern...when I was a kid, black & white tv was it and we only got 3 channels! We only had AM radio, not FM, let alone all the digital music out there today! I'm lucky I know how to use my tablet! We didn't do play dates...just knocked on doors to see if the kids could come out to play, so I'm still lost in the 1960's!
Ah...those were the good old days! : )

That sounds like wonderful memories Pamela! My family has always been more "old fashioned" too. We don't have tv, we just recently even got internet, we dress different than most of the world, so we kinda tend to stand out when we go out in public! πŸ˜‚ Anyway, saying all that, I understand! ❀️

I admire no TV!!! I have it, but usually only watch the weather. I can't even stand the news anymore...too negative. When I do watch, I usually watch old reruns of Westerns or PBS. I prefer to read or listen to music. It's so much more relaxing!
