What breed, Emma? I love dogs, but haven't replaced the ones who died last. Because of my illness, I don't want to pass on and leave doggie babies behind. I worry so much about that, even with my cats. I had beagles and cocker spaniels all of my life, now it's just my cat babies!

Oh my goodness, how surprisingly hot for PA!!! It sounds like the East is getting blasted with heat this summer - even here in NC it doesn't seem to be THAT hot. In the 90's, perhaps but I don't think its ever reached an index over the 100's.
