Seriously, if you have not seen The Original Fannie Farmer 1896 Cook Book, you really should check it out! It's historically fascinating and really does contain great recipes! As a collector of vintage cookbooks, I highly recommend the book!Pammy Jo

So you learned something new! I enjoy it when I am still able to teach. The Fanny Farmer Cook Book (she spelled it as two words) is really very interesting! I highly recommend finding a reprint, as it became the most famous cookbook ever written. Fanny was also quite interesting! Very intelligent, too.
I have many cookbooks, but my favorites are Fanny Farmer's and also Betty Crocker's Picture Cook Book from 1950. I have an original copy of that one and use it a lot!
