Oh dear. I tried so hard to be positive after becoming irate about my neighbor's sign with obscenities on it, but it is not working! I just had to go to the borough hall to pay my water/refuse bill. My neighbor now has his obscene and vulgar sign lit up by a big floodlight! I commented to borough office staff about it when I paid my bill. The neighbor is exercising his First Amendment Right and nothing can be done about it. Not even if the language is obscene. I understand freedom of speech and all that, but what about the rights of those who are offended by the vulgarity? What has happened to common decency? To respect for humanity? I'm sorry, but I am so disturbed by the situation, even more so that I feel as though my rights are being violated. All I can do is pray.🙏
