I never even thought about who wrote Over the Rover and Through the Woods before! Although we've joked that it must have been written by somebody from up here, because we almost always have snow by Thanksgiving!

I have known many, many ladies named Ruth. Two of my aunts are named Ruth. One was my dad's brother's wife and one is my dad's sister. So many family friends were named Ruth. Seriously, of all of my friends over the years, I think those named Ruth have been the most prevalent. More so than any other name. Come to think of it, they have been some of my very favorite people! And so it continues!🤗

The fumes are still hovering this morning, but not quite so strong. They did not evacuate. The fire was in an attached garage, so who knows what was being released into the air? Everyone is okay.

Good morning! I am on a roll today because one of my neighbors placed a homemade political sign in his front yard overnight which is vulgar and totally inappropriate. Much foul language is included, along with his negative opinion of the current President. Little elementary school children walk past it on their way to and from school each day. No matter one's political views, it is unacceptable to project them in such a way, in my opinion. 2020 has got to be the most bizarre year in the history of our nation. 😓 Very sad times.

Oh wow, that's awful. 😖 And people have the nerve to complain about Trump's language! I was saying the other day that if I didn't know anything else, I think I could still know who to vote for just by seeing the kind of people who support each candidate.
