What are you curious about? 🧐

message 11306: by Pamela (new)

Pamela | 2209 comments Oh dear. I know, but I just did a question. This is a good question, Meg, especially because of the season we are in and an historic event affiliated with the individual in question. If nobody else guesses, I'll answer.

I'm never "okay" but I used to say that with my Kindergarten class every year at Halloween. We called it "The Witch's Brew" and they loved it!

John Eliot. He translated The Bible into the Massachusetts dialect of the Algonquin language. It was the first Bible printed in the Colonies.

The first English-language Bible was published in America by Robert Aitken, but he settled in Philadelphia. Just a note of interest about another early American Bible.

I didn't see any other comments. My notifications aren't coming in on a timely basis and I haven't even received a single notification about the Chat page at all. I'll delete my recent question and hints, etc. Is our group ending all posts?

message 11343: by Pamela (new)

Pamela | 2209 comments Isn't our group ending now? I just figured it is ending since Meg was the moderator.

Emma | meadowroselibrary Pamela wrote: "Isn't our group ending now? I just figured it is ending since Meg was the moderator."

I don't think it's ending... I don't want to say things that aren't my place to say, but I think Ruth is going to take over now, but I'm not sure.

Pamela | 2209 comments I feel very sad about Meg. She has been lots of fun and really made our group special. 😞

Pamela | 2209 comments Well Emma, I'm signing off for the day. We'll see if Ruth keeps the group going and she can decide what to do about the quiz. I felt it was best to delete my recent question, as I thought the quiz was over. Have a good day!
