I'm going to agree with Emma on this one. Hawthorne was very dark and serious. One of his ancestors was a judge at the Salem Witch Trials, which bothered Hawthorne enough for him to change his name, though, adding a w. Maybe it wasn't him, but I'm still going to guess Hawthorne
