Pamela | 2209 comments I'm heading to the dollar store, but I'll be back. My answer is Henry David Thoreau.

Pamela | 2209 comments FYI...I wasn't really wrong about Thoreau, but Noah Webster was the more well known "odd duck." I knew I read it somewhere:

Henry was someone who was seen as an ‘odd duck’, over educated and underemployed by his town’s folk. He was often seen sauntering through the woods of Lincoln and nearby Walden Pond where he built his now famous ‘cabin in the woods’. He sauntered seemingly with no direct purpose in mind, stopping here and there to observe a recently blooming flower or passing grasshopper.

No problem for me, either. Neither of my kitties is feeling good tonight. Clara is just off...sitting in my doll cradle all day. Sarah has an abcessed anal gland. I'm concerned about them both. When they feel sick, so do I.😥

You know, I think I really am much like Thoreau. I often wander with no real purpose, stop to look at insects,🐞talk to squirrels and bunnies,🐇smell flowers, 🌸chirp at birds,🐦etc.! Earlier in the Summer, I actually saw an ant carrying a berry and I wondered where he was going, so I followed him all around the side of my house. 🐜He ended up going under a bush and I lost his trail! I literally spent the better part of an hour watching him! I told you I am an odd duck!🦆😉🤣😂Quack! Quack!🤪

Sort of. I was watching The Prince and the Pauper. But I didn't get to finish because it's time to go let out the dogs.
