15 years ago, I saw the Titanic Exhibit there when it was touring the U.S.. Actual artifacts from the ship were on display and they used some of the sets from the movie "Titanic" as part of the exhibit. The Grand Staircase was beautiful! We got boarding passes as tickets and they were the actual names of passengers who were on the ship when it sank. Nobody knew if they survived until the end of the exhibit, when we checked the lists of lives lost and also survivors. I was Margaret Tobin Brown (aka Molly Brown) and my mom was Madeleine Astor. Both women survived the sinking. My mom thought it was appropriate that I was Molly Brown because my personality is rather like hers! Not sure if that's good or bad!?? Everybody was in tears at the end of the exhibit tour. ..It was one of the most moving experiences of my life.
Anyway, that's the sort of Special Exhibits they have at the Franklin Institute all the time.

That would be so cool, Pammy! What an experience!

This New England author wrote a poem to honor his friend and fellow writer upon that writer's death. Name both authors and the title of the poem.

No, not for Cooper, but Longfellow wrote the poem.

Who wrote those words. Of course I had to leave out some of them.🤔🤔🤔🎃🐎📆🤯

🤣🤣🤣"
No, not Mark Twain...He was too busy inventing the bra strap!😂🤣😁

CORRECT, MEG! NOW PUT IT ALL TOGETHER AND NAME THE POEM ⛪⚰"
I FOUND IT!!! 'In the Churchyard at Tarrytown'...
Here lies the gentle humorist, who died
In the bright Indian Summer of his fame!
A simple stone, with but a date and name,
Marks his secluded resting-place beside
The river that he loved and glorified.
Here in the autumn of his days he came,
But the dry leaves of life were all aflame
With tints that brightened and were multiplied.
How sweet a life was his; how sweet a death!
Living, to wing with mirth the weary hours,
Or with romantic tales the heart to cheer;
Dying, to leave a memory like the breath
Of summers full of sunshine and of showers,
A grief and gladness in the atmosphere.

I just posted me answer! 😂"
I know. You posted while I was typing, so I deleted my comment about waiting.😁

I was just teasing. I just don't know as much, that's all. Just ask a Louisa May Alcott question once in a while. 😉
