Emma | meadowroselibrary I feel like this quiz has been a bust lately. πŸ˜‚ Poor Pammy's not hardly been able to be on because of her internet issues, Ruth's been too tired, Allyson's got her own life, πŸ™„πŸ€£ that just leaves the three of us.

Pamela | 2209 comments I know the answer. Again, I worry that I won't be able to be online!πŸ˜₯

It's Henry David Thoreau. "Civil Disobedience"...my final answer.πŸ™‚

πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ That does sound like Thoreau!! Although it beats me why it would sound familiar to Dorry! πŸ˜‚

Lily Rose Dorothea | 1454 comments For your information, Meg, all I did was to look for the name of the "fashion magazine laura ingalls wilder." That gave me the name of the editor, which, I admit, I didn't know before, but the first thing that came to my mind was that magazine, so don't be unfair!

Pamela | 2209 comments You are welcome, Dorothy!😊
It is, no doubt, a good thing the teacher can't be online much at present, or surely the chair in the corner would be frequently occupied these last few days!LOL!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜„πŸ€£πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—

Lily Rose Dorothea | 1454 comments This poet wrote a poem as a private joke on his friend, but was surprised and disappointed to learn that people were taking the poem seriously, in spite of his best efforts to make it clear by his manner that he was "only fooling." Name the poet and the poem.

Emma | meadowroselibrary πŸ€” Wasn't that Mark Twain, writing to John Greenleaf Whittier? I don't know the poem.

Joanna Why is Dorry asking questions about poems she's never read?!

Emma | meadowroselibrary Meg wrote: "Why is Dorry asking questions about poems she's never read?!"
