My favorite place to go is the church pavilion at the back of my property. I can sit there for hours and look over the fields and the wooded area, which is full of beautifully colored fall foliage. There are many animals and birds to watch, too. Rabbits, foxes, deer, squirrels...right now a doe who lives in the woods has 3 fawns (rather late in the season for that, so it's a bit unusual) and she has been walking them right through my yard! I think they are beautiful animals! We even have skunks and an occasional coyote (which doesn't thrill me)! The variety of birds is amazing...bluebirds, cardinals, wrens, herons, many hawks and even the occasional turkey and bald eagle! It's amazing! Another thing I like to do in the Fall is to put on a sweater, sit on the porch and read!
