Dorry- Louisa May Alcott
Emma- James Fenimore Cooper
(Now on Meg's naughty list)
Doreen- Thoreau
Allyson- The black balled Mark Twain
Hannah?
Care to guess?

Black balled as in ousted.
In secret organizations or private clubs
each member is given a white and a black
ball (marbles). When the times comes to
vote: a member in/out, disputes, or
business, a person holds a velvet bag
for each member to cast a vote by
dropping a marble into the bag.
The bag is taken and counted majority
color- either black or white wins the vote.
Haven't you heard of this secret ballot?
