Paul Moxham | 3 comments OK, so I read this book in 2002 while I was in high school. The place I went to was a christian school so, while it is possible that the author was christian, it is more likely that it was a clean book that didn't have any bad language and so on. I don't know when it was published, if I had to guess around 1990. It wasn't a new book, but it wasn't old either.

It was a three book series. As stated above, the 1st book dealt with brothers moving into a house in the country (they were aged around 12-16 I think) and trying to pretend that they were living with an adult. In order to pay rent and food, they did some crazy schemes, like trying to grow pumpkins in order to have the biggest one to enter this competition. Or having a fishing competition in the lake/pond beyond the house and tagging the fish with colored tags and offering money to whoever caught the fish. Book 2 dealt with some crooks cutting down some expensive pine trees, book 3 dealt with one of the brothers partaking part in a circus. But all throughout the books the boys had some crazy schemes.

I have tried google and so on, but no luck. I think the books may have been published by scholastic, but unsure. Book would have been set somewhere in USA, present day.

Thanks in advance.
