Pjcm | 12 comments Looking for books (preferably vintage gothics) in which the heroine has amnesia and is brought home by a relative, usually a person claiming to be her husband. She is threatened and wonders who she can trust while trying to recover her memory. Books that I have read and enjoyed like this are : "Michael's Wife" by Marlys Millhiser, "Dark Masquerade" by Elna Stone, and "Sleep Well Christine " by Alice Brennan.

Any suggestions of books with these themes int he gothic romance genre would be greatly appreciated.
