I read daily. During work week I read during lunch break and in evenings. Weekends whenever randomly.
Everyday.all the time .except sleeping time :)
Depends on the book. Sometimes I can devour hundreds of pages in one sitting, other times I don't read for weeks at a time. Lately I've only had time to squeeze in a handful of pages regardless of my mood.

Some are deliberately in a short, anecd..."I am usually reading a couple books at a time also. It depends on my mood and the genre. Maybe one book is heavy and I have to give it a break. I used to read constantly, but now that I am in school again, I don't read as much. However, I have hour lunches so those have become my reading time. And before bed (If I can keep from falling asleep). With the sunny weather I try to take an hour or two to read outside.
Lately I haven't been reading much. This is party since I spend my time writing, but also because I am pretty busy. But, my new favorite thing is listening to audio books while I clean around the house! It really helps me get motivated when I know I get to listen to a book while I do dishes and fold laundry. It makes me actually look forward to doing the cleaning since I also get to listen to the book more.
Every day. At bedtime usually unless it's a weekend and I'm in a position where I have to wait (like at an appointment). One of my hobbies is in the entertainment industry where a lot of hurry up and wait goes on.. So sometimes I have a lot of time on my hands to read... Jackpot!
I read almost every day. Starting with the 25 minute tram ride to work and back home. That gives me some time to read. :)

I read whenever i find the time and even when my exams are the next day .... i don't limit myself to a number of books .... i let my eyes lead :)
Victoria wrote: "It depends really... some times I read a book real slowly then at others I can finish a book in a day.. depends on the mood I'm in"I read slowly if I don't like the book and I read quickly if I like the book.
I try to read every day even if it's only 10 minutes. It depends on how much I'm enjoying the book (or not sometimes). Can't think of a better way to relax.
How much I read depends on how interesting the book I am reading is. If I really like the book I read more, which means as much as possible. If it's okay I read less, like only when I'm in a car or something. If I really don't like the book I stop reading it. If I can't find a good book, I usually bring an okay one with me and stare into space more than I read.
Every night for at least 2-3 hours and on weekends -whole day! If I find any interesting book, I would complete it in few hours...

I do the same thing! If I don't like the book I just stop reading it.
^ I'm learning to do that. Before, I really slug through out. But then, I go into a reading slump after that.
Any free time I have left during my very, very busy daily routine is spent reading. I usually read an ebook while commuting to and from work and have a 'real' book at home. While I can't spare more than a couple of hours for reading during weekdays, the weekends are spent reading in bed mostly, about 10-12 hours.
I read every day. I don't have a set reading schedule however I find my high peaks for reading are normally early in morning after I feed dogs, check goodreads and facebook, and normally when my morning coffee is done I will sit down and read for a little bit. I also tend to read late afternoon and right before bed but it varies depending on my day and what other things I have to do that day.
I read every day, usually where ever possible but if I haven't had time during the day I will read for an hour before I go to bedI am notorious for prioritising reading above all else which is possibly why I do so much of it
yes if I don't like the book I just find another one to read. I don't have time to waste on books I don't like. I read a little each day on the bus to and from work :)
Yea true.... a bad book just ruins my mood at times ....but i always land up back in goodreads scrounging for more books :)
I hate it when there is so much hype about a book but when you read it you end up not liking it..that happened to me with The Girl on the Train by Hawkins
I agree! Sometimes people just like a book because it's popular to like it. A lot of times when that happens I wait until the hype has died down and then I read it. That way I don't let what other people say effort how I feel, and I also don't feel pressured into liking it. There's a few books I still haven't read for that reason.

Lucianna wrote: "I hate it when there is so much hype about a book but when you read it you end up not liking it..that happened to me with The Girl on the Train by Hawkins"Same. I tried not to think about it much but with everyone saying that this book was similar to "Gone Girl", I had my hopes up. While I did like "The Girl on the Train", it's no Gone Girl.
The one book that hype ruined for me was "The Fault in Our Stars". I disliked it so very much. So much that it soured every John Green book to me. I'll stick with his online stuff. His books? No thanks.
I thought about reading Fault, but the hype made me uninterested and the movie trailer made the whole book evident. I guessed the big plot twist at the end just by watching the trailer and now feel like I won't ever read the book even though I bought it, or watch the movie for that matter.
I think even without the hype, I would not like it still. Hype does make some books seem intimidating. There's a lot of YA books and series that I still haven't read because of hype.
The last time someone commented on this was a month ago so I decided to comment and restart the original purpose of this thread! Well, I used to love reading when I was younger and I had so many books (I have no idea where they are now) but I stopped reading at about grade 8 or right before I entered high school. I just recently started reading again and rekindled my love for books.
BESIDES THE POINT, I try to read as much as possible. I read fairly quickly, fastest would be within a day, longest would be about 5 days so I try to read atleast 4 or 5 books a month. I think that's about how often I read :)
I read almost all the time. Everywhere I go, I will most likely have a book with me unless it's not aloud.
I read every single day! Typically finish a novel in 2 or 3 days, but school has sadly kept me very occupied lately.
I read constantly. I have read anywhere between 1 book a week to about a dozen in a week before. I don't tend to like NOT being in the middle of a book. It makes me feel restless.
Do audiobooks count? I am stuck in a car for an hour everyday to and from work. So I put an audiobook on so I can still enjoy the books I like and want to read.
During the school year i dont have much time to read with homework, classwork, sports, and other things. I try to read as much as i can. I usually read way more in the summer. Its really all i do.
