ABANDONED. YA Fantasy. Girl gets transported into a magical, storybook world after being arrested with her boyfriend?

So, I don't remember much because I wasn't able to finish it at the time, but I do remember that the MC was arrested (in an alleyway??) with her new boyfriend and something happened whenever she got home afterwards and she was transported into a fantasy world that is like a fairy tale, storybook type of world, through the mirror on her dresser in her bedroom and I'm pretty sure that her ex-boyfriend is there with her. I'm not totally sure but I know that there was something about Rumpelstiltskin, if that helps? I read this around 2010-2012, I can't really remember and I'm not exactly sure when it came out.

It's a Young Adult Fantasy and the girl is a senior in high school, if I remember correctly.

i forgot to mention it but it is a ya fantasy book! and i'm almost positive that she was a senior in high school! and i'm not totally sure how it's different as it's been so long since i read it and i wasn't able to complete it, i just know that it was like a storybook land!
