SOLVED. Historical Romance - Heroine mistakes Hero for hired prostitute. [s]

I may be getting more than one book mixed up but I believe it's just one book.

I'm not sure how old the book is. I read it about 5 years ago. I believe it's based in England sometime in the 1800's.

The Heroine who is approaching thirty hires a prostitute and schedules for him to meet her at home. At the appointed time a man shows up who she assumes is the prostitute and it's a rather hilarious interaction. He goes along with it until the Heroine has a change of heart.

Later the two meet at a party where to her humiliation, learns he's not a prostitute. He's a news paper editor (book editor, etc something along those lines) and she writes as well. I think he hires her. They eventually get married. I believe he was abused at an orphanage when he was young. I think he maybe the illegitimate son of a Lord. I also believe he's younger than the Heroine.

I'm unsure about either of those. I assume England where I think hes the illegitimate son of a lord. I also assume the 1800's but I don't really know.
