Jenna (jennawatts) Well reviewed graphic novel by the wonderful Allie Brosh. She was in her 20s when she began blogging stories illustrated with her signature, very expressive, computer generated stick figure drawings. Some of these were eventually compiled in this volume, which was published, along with new content, when she was about 28. Funny and sad, covering a range of topics from love for your (dumb) dog to surviving clinical depression. I loved Allie's fabulous blog and now this challenge gives me an excuse to read more of her work!

Emily I'm going to go with this one as well! I've been a fan of her blog for awhile, and I have this book sitting on my bookshelf at home, waiting to be read. Now is as good a time as any!

And thanks for the suggestion, Jenna - I was stuck trying to figure out what book I could use for this topic. Didn't even think of this one!

Meran yes, Alie has quite a following… one of my favorites was CAKE! lol

QS (yodepalma) | 42 comments Ahhh I didn't realize she was under 30 when this was published! Oh well. I have a different book for this week, but I'll be reading Hyperbole for the memoir week. I'm still excited for it! :D [I had to edit my comment because grammar is good.]

Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) I'm going to reread this for my under 30 week. I still have to finish last week's book (Ready Player One)first.
I loved the book the first time I read it! As someone who does suffer from depression, I found a lot of it bittersweet and very true.
