Well reviewed graphic novel by the wonderful Allie Brosh. She was in her 20s when she began blogging stories illustrated with her signature, very expressive, computer generated stick figure drawings. Some of these were eventually compiled in this volume, which was published, along with new content, when she was about 28. Funny and sad, covering a range of topics from love for your (dumb) dog to surviving clinical depression. I loved Allie's fabulous blog and now this challenge gives me an excuse to read more of her work!

I'm going to go with this one as well! I've been a fan of her blog for awhile, and I have this book sitting on my bookshelf at home, waiting to be read. Now is as good a time as any!And thanks for the suggestion, Jenna - I was stuck trying to figure out what book I could use for this topic. Didn't even think of this one!

Glad to have company in reading it, Kate! Yes, this week's theme was a tough one! But we got it now! :-)
This is my book for the week as well. After reading all the comments here I'm even more excited to read this it.
Ooh, I have this book sitting here waiting to be read, and never thought of it as a graphic novel - thank you! I now have that week sorted, finally!
Ahhh I didn't realize she was under 30 when this was published! Oh well. I have a different book for this week, but I'll be reading Hyperbole for the memoir week. I'm still excited for it! :D [I had to edit my comment because grammar is good.]
