message 4: by Clémence (new)

Clémence | 117 comments Heidi and Lolita are both great - in a very, very different manner, obviously.

message 5: by Jemma (new)

Jemma (jemmaj) | 53 comments I have decided on "Divergent"...seen the film so the book maybe ruined for me; we'll wait and see!

Sarah Gardner (indiesarah) | 2 comments Oh God, oh God, oh God, ALL OF YOU PLEASE READ MIDDLESEX - it's long, but it's the best book I've read in ages.

This actually came up a couple times while searching for books! I'll add it to my list!

Clémence | 117 comments I think I'll read Middlesex for the Pullitzer Prize category. :)

Oooh I want to read that! I've heard good things.

message 11: by Leah (new)

Leah (xleah2k13) | 0 comments I read Landline. I liked it, but I didn't like it as much as I thought I was going to for a Rainbow Rowell book. It was a bit disappointing.

message 12: by Fay (new)

Fay Roberts I've seen some good choices on here. Mine was not so good compared to Pulitzer and Goodreads winners - I read Reflections by Nora Roberts, a category romance from 1983; I loved it (and I'm not even ashamed.....well maybe a bit ashamed.....no definitely not ashamed!)

message 13: by Jodez (new)

Jodez (jodez4) | 66 comments Coraline for me. I've been meaning to read it forever.

message 14: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberinoface) i ended up reading Matched and it works for this challenge

message 15: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer I've just finished Armada by Ernest Cline for this one.

I really loved Ready Player One and was really looking forward to this one. I didn't think it was quite as good but it's a solid 3, 3.5 stars.

It's definitely worth a read if you liked RPO.

Elizabeth (persephone17) I read Girl by Blake Nelson for this one - it was a good look at how it would be like as a teenager in the 90s. I recommend if anyone is into the 90s music scene.
