Help Finding a Book(SOLVED!)

Hello everyone!

I am definitely in need of some help with finding a book.

I remember the female character is African American and she is pregnant. I believe she is or was running away from an abusive relationship. I believe a church helped her find a place to stay? Or helped her find a job? The job happens to reside within a reclusive man's house. I believe he has a scarred face (soft spoken too?

Does this sound familiar to anyone? The book shouldn't be more than two or three years old. I think the cover of it was fairly simple too. I know it had a woman with a dark complexion being held by a Caucasian man.

Thanks! I think a piece of the book I read started with her being driven by a priest or a preacher to the millionaire's house. I know she was supposed to be an assistant but for what I am not sure. For some reason I want to say she was there to help our with a special needs family member of his.

This books sounds so familiar to me too. For the life of me can't figure out which book it is. I suspect it was maybe a DNF.

By the way, I actually didn't read that. I read the blurb previously, was really intrigued, but the "Fabios of Interracial Romance" being on the cover, obviously deterred me from proceeding further. I have a tendency to avoid books with them on the cover. Great looking couple, but they are on way too many horrible books unfortunately. It's become sort of an omen for me, at this point.
