I don't remember if he cheats on her, but their relationship is rocky & they break up & there is some groveling that happens.

I'm 99.9% sure there is no cheating. I really like this series and in my mind there is only 1 possible ending scenario for cheating and that's a knife in the throat.

There is absolutely no cheating in but there is groveling (as much as Vlad is capable of groveling).

I'm not a fan of the cheating trope and for me there is no amount of groveling that could possibly compensate for it, so I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions. Good luck with the search :0)
