Katrisa wrote: "Cherie wrote: "Can I have the 0 and 1 for Card 5? I will start reading Men We Reaped by Jesmyn Ward for the 0 and listening to Dog on It by [author:S..."Thanks, Katrisa! If there are other places need or that they will fit better, it is okay to move them. I actually can click on the link in the internet version and had it open for a minute, but I am not sure I understand it. I am an old dog and it is hard to learn new tricks.
I finished No Longer Human for hand 4 card 6. I am in the middle of The Magician's Elephant right now for hand 5 card 4 - mostly blue cover
Cherie - there's an open slot for 0 in Hand 5 if you want to put The Last Painting of Sara de Vos there, or Reverse in Hand 6
I finished The Magician's Elephant. It was a reread for me - and man, I forgot how much I just adore that book! I started The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America for hand 5 card 0
It does not matter to me where it goes but I had asked to read the de Vos book for the Reverse card on Hand 1 because TrudyAn had just recently read it.Are the books for hand 1 completed? If yes, use it where it will fit.
I have plenty of books available to read and that is why I gave a list of the cards that I couldfill. I am fine with someone telling me which card (and hand) to read for.

Reverse Hand 1 is taken by Amanda. I suggested Hand 5 or 6 because it's the closest one :)
We have four 0, two 1, one 2, two 3, three 4, four 5, two 6, two 9, one Reverse, two Skip, and one Wild Card 4 we can fill
Cherie wrote: "Ok, Ayacchi, put my books wherever they fit. 😊. Thanks for the help!"Okay Cherie, I'll put it on Hand 6 Reverse!
I added The Trumpet of the Swan
for Hand 5 Card 0 (stand alone and mostly white). It also fits Wild Draw 4 (animal on the cover)
I finished The Night Tiger for hand3, card 0. I am working on my book for hand 4. If I get it finished I will see what else I can squeeze in.
I can go back and add the points from the reporting sheet, Jannene. I am a teacher, so I am only working 9 hours a week for summer school right now - I have extra time on my hands, lol! Also, I added Tracks for hand 5 card 4 (narrator is Anna Fields - starts with F)
That explains how you are able to read so many books!! I hope to finish my 2nd book today or tomorrow. I’m off again this Friday so I have a full day to listen to another book.
Awesome, Katrisa! I was wondering too. :o)------------------
I started listening to Lethal Pursuit** today, while I was working. This book will fit for cards Skip (#11 in a series), 2 for Will Thomas - the author, and 4 for Antony Ferguson - the audiobook narrator. I was going to wait until I finished listening to Dog on It, but I could not wait.
**Katrisa - I love this series and narrator. If your library has them, I absolutely recommend them.
Finished Heavy: An American Memoir. It was fantastic and read by the author. I really like when books are read by the author.
Scribd has all the books in the series. I haven't read my 1880s book yet too! looks like I have a new book for that spot!
Katrisa wrote: "Ya, my life is like 98% audiobooks right now!"I wish I could listen to audiobook without reading the text~
I added Kim Ji-Yeong Lahir Tahun 1982
for Hand 6 Card 1 (1 in the title)It also fits Card 0 (stand alone, mostly white cover) and Card 2, 8, 9 (2, 8, 9 in the title)
Then
for Hand 6 Card 5 (mostly red cover)It also fits Card 1 (mostly red cover), Card 2 (title starts with T, #2 in the series), and Card Skip (child as main character)
Hand 1 is finished.Mary needs to complete her book. Then hand 2 will be done.
Hand 3 is finished.
Hand 4 TrudyAn has one book and Amanda has one.
Hand 5 Cherie has two books and then it will be done.
We are on a roll. If someone can’t finish their books let us know and we can move things around.
I am halfway through Northanger Abbey. I think I can get through one more before 10am (my time) on Sat. I think I'll take Cherie's suggestion and start the Barker and Llewelyn books. I'll see where I can fit it on our spreadsheet.
My next book will be Some Danger Involved can be for:6 - title starts with S
1 - first in a series
2 - author starts with T
9 - mostly black cover (audio)
4 - narrator starts with F
Jannene - you can put it wherever would be most helpful :)
I finished Lethal Pursuit this morning and reported it in the reporting thread just now.I am still listening to Dog on It
and reading
.
Cherie. Men We Reaped was a powerful read for me. I might need to reread it given our current reckoning with racism

This fits multiple places and can cover if someone doesn’t finish their books assigned. If they finish, I plopped you on hand 7.
I'm reading NowIt fits:
Card 3 - #3 in the series
Card 9 - title starts with N
Skip - child as a main character (?)
I am ready to start a new book. I have the day off, and I can usually read a book in a day. What do we need? Does anyone need help?
Casceil, could you find something for card 3? I haven’t had an update yet for Amanda. She has that book. If she does finish we still can use that for hand 7.
I finished the Chet and Bernie audiobook this morning Dog on It and reported it in the reporting thread.
I hope it is not going to interfere, but I am going to put
aside. It is a little too long to finish in time, and I found
, which is also a stand alone book to replace the card 0. I can use it on my trivia challenge and it is shorter. I am pretty sure I can finish it.
Cherie wrote: "I finished the Chet and Bernie audiobook this morning Dog on It and reported it in the reporting thread."Did you love it?
I finished Montana D-Force for number 3, wherever you want to put it. Let me know if I should try to squeeze in something else.
I finished my Some Danger Involved - thanks for the rec Cherie! I will for sure check out some more of the series. The characters are fun and interesting! I will see if I can find another short book in case maybe I can squeeze one more in?
**edited**Ok all we have hands 1-4 finished. The fifth is just waiting for Cherie to finish the one book. One book for hand six. Hopefully we finish both of those so we can get points for hand 7. We have a few open spots for hand 7 two 0’s and a 6 if someone thinks they can finish a short one by noon tomorrow.
Ok, I am going to try to finish Crazy Brave as it just squeaks by the page limit! It can be a 0 - stand alone
It can be a 3 - author/narrator starts with H
